 | A little advice: watch this movie after midnight when you're punch-drunk tired. You'll enjoy it a LOT more.
Most of the comedy comes from the fact that these conjoined twins are, well... conjoined, but yet they don't seem to realize that they can't lead a normal life. Damon's character finally meets a girl he's been dating over the internet for three years, but somehow failed to mention he has a brother at all, say nothing about the fact that he's stuck to him. And when the two finally meet it takes three or four dates for her to figure out why Kinner is always there. Kinner himself wants to be a Hollywood actor but can't quit grasp why he's laughed out of ever audition he attends.
A tasteful job is done of making their situations funny without being overly distasteful, but there are a few scenes that could have been left out and I would have been fine. Just one example: Kinnner has sex with a girl he picked up in a bar while Damin is separated from them by a sheet. While this scene and a few others like it are more embarrassing then funny, overall the movie is good for a few solid chuckles. But, I must say, if you're looking for non-stop side splitting laughter, you might want to look elsewhere.
I'm not saying you shouldn't watch it, I'm only saying that you should not get your hopes up. You'll have fun, but you'll also forget you ever say it within a few days. |

 | A very intelligent and funny movie. I was pleasently surprised by the inventive humour |

 | This movie was not funny in the least...boring, stupid, and in some spots down right vulgar....do not let you kids watch this movie if they are under 16....IMHO!!! |

 | Apparently a lot of people are talking about the version of 'Summertime' that Greg Kinnear sings at the end of the movie. There is a discussion about this on musicsearch.com and a Google search on '"Stuck On You" AND Summertime AND Greg Kinnear' turns up several references. According to the extras on the DVD, Greg Kinnear DOES sing, although he's probably lip synching to his own studio version. The song is a pretty close rendition of Billy Stewart's version of 'Summertime' by George Gershwin from his musical 'Porgy & Bess'. Awesome rendition! |

 | Stuck on you made me laugh, there is no question. Very good comedy, a great storyline. How two conjoined twins set out to Hollywood, one of them is pursuing an acting career, the other has an online chat partner for three years he is meeting there in hollywood. Great acting, and great job with the prosthetics (although i am sure it was a pain for Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear to be stuck together for 3 months.) The only reason i dont give it 5 stars is probably just because i am a huge Farrelly Brothers fan and this isnt the absolute best movie they have made in my opinion, but it was still good. |
