SummaryAntzie Hall
Content
Once again, Woody Allen begins this movie in a New York City psychiatrists office questioning life... But this time, he's an animated ant. This film appeared in theatres a couple months before rival studios superior animated insect film, A BUGS LIFE. That is not to say that ANTZ is without merit. It is a darker film filled with distress and humor written above the little one's heads. In the end, good prevails (Shoulda warned you about the spoiler) and the message is simple, DREAMWORKS and DISNEY must try to live together instead of eliminating each other. The spectacular DVD comes loaded which takes the hour and a half film and turns it into an eight hour movie workshop.

SummaryAnt with attitude
Content
Woody Allen is perfect as the voice of Z, an ant who just doesn't fit in with the whole colony thing. Z doesn't like being a digger and wonders if there is something better or different to hope for. Then he meets Princess Bala...

Through a series of blunderings Z becomes more than he was. He finds his place and becomes a hero saving the colony. While aimed at children the movie is filled with comments and asides that will tickle adults and keep them smiling.

I was really disappointed in this. Glad we only rented this one!!! I thought it would be colorful and cute just like the Bug Movie...not even close! The colors were dreadful and the storyline sure was not for little ones. Our daughter likes bugs so I thought she might enjoy this one. None of us enjoyed this one!!!

Not that impressed with this movie. I really just could not get into this movie. It was kinda boring in parts and at I times just wanted to shut it off. A little annoying. The cast was good having Gene Hackman, Christopher Walker, Sharon Stone and Sylvester Stallone. But even they couldn't save this movie from my CRAP LIST.
