5' 4" tall green-eyed, brown-haired Farah Fath is widely remembered while
playing the role of Mimi Lockhart (1999-2006) on NBC long-running soap opera,
"Days of our Lives." She was crowned "Miss Kentucky Preteen" in 1995 and was a
National Speech Winner in several pageants.

Childhood and Family:
In Lexington, Kentucky, Farah LeeAllen Fath was born on May 1, 1984. Her father,
Greg, still resides in Lexington, Kentucky and works in the car business. Farah
has a sister called Victoria (Torie), who is three years younger.
Farah was a cheerleader in junior high and appear in her high school's
production of “Life With Mother Superior.” Her idol is Marilyn Monroe, and she
decorates her dressing room at “Days of Our Lives” in red, with pictures of
Monroe. She likes Hanson, "Friends" and especially Lisa Kudrow. Her favorite
movie is Old School and her favorite actor is her Days co-star, Kyle Brandt.
Nicknamed “Peas,” Farah describes herself as a goofball. She has a cockapoo
named "Ziggy," who is half cocker spaniel and half toy poodle, and a Teacup
Yorkye named Jack.
Miss Kentucky Preteen
Career:
“I was really excited to stay in Los Angeles, but I missed my family and
friends. My Mom had to commute back and forth for the first few months, but it
was well worth it. I now have a contract role on my favorite daytime drama. I
still can't believe I'm living my dream.” Farah Fath.
Beginning her career in show business at the age of five, Farah Fath has
participated in an International Model and Talent Convention by the age of
eight. She was crowned "Miss Kentucky Preteen" in 1995 and was a National Speech
Winner in several pageants. She later appeared in a national Pringles commercial
and numerous print campaigns for Duncan Hines.
"I had been watching the show since I was a little girl. I mean, I was just this
little girl from Kentucky with a big dream. I was really lucky. I went in there,
and I couldn't act. But I got the part. I firmly believe that if you're destined
to have a part, you're destined to get that part." Farah Fath (on winning a role
in "Days of our Lives").
In 1999, Farah headed for L.A. for her first audition. And only within two
weeks, she landed the role of Mimi Lockhart on NBC long-running soap opera,
"Days of our Lives." Being asked about her role, she explained: “The situations
Mimi gets herself into by keeping secrets is definitely not up my alley, but I
do lend my own mannerisms and character traits to her. I get so defensive for
Mimi that I will stand up for her!”
During her "Days of our Lives" years, she was spotted as a guest in an April
2003 episode of NBC huge hit sitcom “Friends” and a February 2004 episode of NBC
dramedy "American Dreams."
In 2006, Farah decided to leave “Days Of Our Lives” for personal reasons. She
asked to be let out of her contract a year early, but insists she was not fired.
She said: “I’m getting annoyed that people think I was fired. I won’t divulge
specific reasons why, but I asked to be let out of my contract a year early.
Days complied, so that means they have until February 2007. Whether they use me
until February is up to them.”
