Never judge a book by its cover, especially in Eric Christian Olsen's case. Sure, he's best known for playing the dumb jock, and maybe his blonde surfer dude look doesn't help, but this guy was pre-med, was in a gifted program in elementary school and he takes Japanese...

Eric was born in Eugene, Oregon, but spent his childhood in Iowa. He wasn't always busy with acting; he played sports a lot since he comes from an athletic family. After receiving a scholarship from Pepperdine University, Eric had to move to Malibu. His major: "Liberal arts-based pre-med, which is a liberal arts major with a concentration in biology and a dual concentration in English."

Because he couldn't afford the room and board ("That ocean view is kind of pricey."), he started acting to earn some cash. First commercials, then guest spots on shows like "ER" and then "Get Real" with Anne Hathaway.

Eric is probably best known for his role as Austin, the cocky blonde guy, in Not Another Teen Movie. He also appeared in Rob Schneider's The Hot Chick, before starring as Lloyd in Dumb And Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd and appearing in Cellular with Chris Evans.
