SummaryYep...its official. Worst movie ever.
Content
My friends and I viewed this movie on a dark night, partly because we had nothing else to do, and partly because we were in need of a good laugh..which it delivered, though not on purpose.
This utterly predictable and extremely low budget film, pumped with unnecessary and totally fake gore and horrible acting (no surprises there when you're cast is Buffy the Vampire Slayer material...)this movie is an utter waste of time, unless you're the cynical type who likes to laugh and talk about how Hollywood has gone so downhill making movies like this which attract the attention of mindless goons, not unlike the West Virginians in this film.

SummaryAWESOME!!!!!!!!
Content
I first rented this movie because I love the actor Desmond Harrington but when i watched it I thought this movie was so cool. It includes everything a good horror movie should: teenagers stranded, inbred red necks, gore, violence, and suspence.
I would Definetly watch this movie

Wrong Turn is a great scary movie and ever since i saw this movie i will never end up making a wrong turn or even going in the woods ever again!!!!!! This group of teenagers end up crashing into each other on a dirt road that is in the middle of no where inside the virgina woods!!!!! These kids have no idea that there are these men that are inbreds that live in the woods and one by one the are being killed off by the men!!!!!!!! I loved the acting and where it takes place and like i said before i will never make a wrong turn or go in the woods again!!!!!!

SummaryUGLY...
Content
Yes, there are a lot of copycat elements in this film, a true original is rare.
The most jarring sequence is in the beginning montage, those photographs of the product of second and third generation inbreeding, probably more. Although the characters are really actors, I heard somewhere that those photos were real; the close-ups of the faces, that is.
The mountain men didn't have the comic relief of the Sawyer family from TCM, but that makes it all the more hard-hitting. These guys have no socialization, they are feral, ugly, and imposing.
The victims are just regular people, with regular lives, and as with any movie of this type, it's hard to watch them meet such a grisly end. And it's all for the survival of these mountain men. Such people probably are out there, somewhere.
