Lauren appeared in a number of adult films during the 1990s. She has been a contract performer with Vivid Entertainment. In 1998, she won Adult Video News Awards for Best Actress and Best Anal Sex Scene as well as an XRCO for Best Actress for her portrayal of Tracy Jo Whitman in “Bad Wives” (1997), which was directed by Paul Thomas and written by Dean Nash. She also directed and wrote 1997's “Broken Promise,” 1998's “Art Lover” and 1998's “Manic Behavior,” as well as directed many other adult films, including “Vivid Virtual Vixens” (1999), “Picture This” (2000), “Virtual Blowjobs in Your Face” (2001) and “Young Felecia” (2003).

In 2007, Lauren became the CEO and spokesperson of the film production company Ninn Worx_SR, which is owned by her ex-husband, John Gray.

On January 12, 2008, Lauren was inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame.  

In April 2009, Lauren started filming for her first feature appearance in more than a decade. She was nominated for the XRCO Award for Best Cumback in 2010 and then in 2011. She also won the 2010 XBIZ Award for Performer Comeback of the Year. In 2011, she received an AVN nomination for MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year.
