Donatella Versace was (born May 2, 1955 in Italy). Like her brother Gianni Versace she is a fashion designer. In the 1970s she began designing knitwear in Florence while studying Italian literature. Following her graduation, she shared a flat with her brother in Milan.

Before the murder of her brother Gianni (in July of 1997), Donatella and Santo Versace maintained secondary jobs in his fashion house. However, after the death of Gianni, Donatella took over the running of her brother’s business. Currently overseeing the fashion house, she has performed well as the Versace name continues to grow.

Donatella and her former husband, American model Paul Beck, have two children named Allegra (born June 30, 1986) and Daniel (born 1991).

She has been impersonated by individuals such as Maya Rudolph on Saturday Night Live. In 2005, she selected Madonna to be the British spokesperson for the line for a reported $5 million, much to the slight of Jerry Hall.
