Diora Baird is an American actress and model. She is perhaps best known for her roles on the films “Wedding Crashers” (2005), “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” (2006) and “My Best Friend's Girl” (2008). The former Guess? girl also had appeared in many television series.     

Baird is married to Jonathan Togo and has one son with him.     


Childhood and Family:

Diora Baird was born on April 6, 1983, in Miami, Florida. Her mother was a model. Diora was introvert when she was young and was enrolled to an acting class to overcome it. She later became  vice president of Thespian Society at her school. When she was 17, Diora decided to move to Los Angeles to try her hand in acting. To support herself, she took various jobs such as a clown at children's parties, caterer, waitress and pre-school teacher as well as at The Gap. Her luck started to change when she got her start in modeling.

On December 12, 2012, Diora gave birth to a son. She later married the child's father, Jonathan Togo, in 2013.

My Best Friend's Girl


Diora Baird began her career as a model, and got her early success with Guess?. She gained further success with an appearance on the cover of Playboy magazine for August 2005 issue. Signed to Elite Model Management in Miami, Baird has also appeared in several other publications, including FHM, Maxim, Stuff, and Esquire (UK).   

Baird made her television acting debut with a guest spot in “The Drew Carey Show” in 2004. The same year, she starred in the short film “Deep Down in Florida,” directed by Sam Esmail. In the following year, she had her breakthrough appearance in a major movie with the hit comedy “Wedding Crashers” (2005), starring Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. There she played the role of Vivian.

Baird continued to land roles on films like “Hot Tamale” (2006), “Fifty Pills” (2006), “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning” (2006), which she starred alongside Jordana Brewster and Matt Bomer, “Accepted” (2006), the low budget “Brain Blockers” (2007), “YPF” (2007), “South of Heaven” (2008),the well received romantic comedy “My Best Friend's Girl” (2008), in which she starred with Dane Cook, Kate Hudson, Jason Biggs, Alec Baldwin and Lizzy Caplan, “Star Trek” (2009), where she had an uncredited part as The Wrong Orion, “Night of the Demons” (2009), “Stan Helsing” (2009), “Let the Game Begin” (2010), “Quit” (2010), “Dry Run” (2010), “Transit” (2012), “Last Call” (2012), “Riddle” (2013) and “Concrete Blondes” (2013). She also appeared in several shorts and direct to video films such as “30 Days of Night: Dark Days” (2010), “Love Shack” (2010) and “The Sexy Dark Ages” (2011).

On the small screen, Baird had recurring roles on “Big Day” (3 episodes, 2006-2007), Fox's “The Loop” (2 episodes, 2007) and Showtime's “Shameless” (4 episodes, 2012-2013). She also made guest appearances in series like “Shark” (2007), “Two and a Half Men” (2009), “Gary Unmarried” (2009), “Accidentally on Purpose” (2009), “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (2010), “Psych” (2011) and “Bent” (2012). She lent her voice to the animated series “Robot Chicken” (2009).         

In 2014, Baird starred as Odessa in the drama film “Beautiful Girl,”directed and written by Stevie Long. The film also starred Brendan Sexton III and Matthew Gray Gubler. The same year, she appeared in episodes of “Franklin & Bash” and “Newsreaders,” playing Cindy Maloney and Ashley / Jennifer, respectively.

Recently, in 2015, Baird co-starred with Sam Trammell, Jason Lee and Laura Fraser in the made for television film “Cocked.”
