| Laugh for laugh, UNDERCOVER BROTHER is funnier than the Austin Powers films. It pokes fun at the Blaxploitation films of the 1970s and also cuts on current popular culture.
Dave Chappelle is hilarious and Denise Richards never looked hotter (she could also be White Man's kryptonite as well!).

| This was undoubtedly the grooviest flick I've ever seen. Everything about it was enjoyable. It is about an individual named Undercover Brother, who soon joins a secret organization, the B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D., dedicated to truth, justice, and the Afro-American way. THE MAN, a racist badguy, sabotages General Warren Boutwell, a respected political figure, to open up a chicken joint, with the ambition that the world will buy in to the caucasian culture and everyone would end up as a white simpleton.With a moxious soundtrack, this becomes a movie full of funk and excitement, as well as teaching us a lesson about race relations. A definite must-see!!!! |

| The acting in this movie was flat overall, except for Chris Kattan, who was over the top and really annoying. The three most rewarding parts of this film for me were:
1) The golf cart chase scene with all of the Little Rascals
2) The guard saying "I just bought those" as his last words when UB stomps his chip bag
3) Chris Kattan being eaten by a shark
Those were about the only funny moments in the movie for me. The delivery of many lines seemed flat, UB's expressions and lines were too cheesy even for a spoof movie like this, and Chris Kattan couldn't stop smirking like a little girl while he delivered his lines. Dave Chappelle is funny, but generally not in this movie. Try Chappelle's Show instead. ALSO, while my favorite movies are The Motorcycle Diaries, Do The Right Thing and Lost in Translation, I also enjoy movies in the category of "stupid in a funny way"... movies I've liked in this category are Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail, Shaolin Soccer (full length version), Spaceballs, Kung-Pow: Enter the Fist, and Half-Baked. I also enjoyed the Austin Powers series, and UB is trying to mimic those movies, however, it is not nearly as clever. UB is a stupid movie, but the problem is that it isn't funny as well. Some of the music is pretty good; I especially like "All Night Long" by the Mary Jane Girls, though it doesn't play until the credits start to roll. This is the only film I've seen by Malcolm Lee, and based on it I can't help but think that Spike Lee is to Malcolm Lee what Jessica Simpson is the Ashlee Simpson. |

| This movie is funny. It`s fun to watch. I`ve seen this movie a million times. It gets better and better. I was singing every song on there. My mom and my brother don`t like this movie.My mom think it`s silly and my brother think it`s boring. My brother ain`t even seen the whole movie and he saying it`s boring. My mom seen the whole movie and she don`t like it. I`ve been trying to convince him that this is a funny movie. My favorite character is Eddie Griffin and Dave Chappelle. They both funny. I like the part when Eddie Griffin threw two pics at those two men. This movie is good and funny. I won`t never get tired of this movie at all. I can watch this movie everyday. I wish i was undercover brother and do all those tricks he do. This movie gets 5 out of 5. |
