Born in Hialeah, Florida (a suburb of Miami) to Cuban parents Jorge Norona and Edith Iglesias, David began his acting career in high school with roles in "The Sound of Music" and "The Fantastiks". After receiving his BFA with honors from Carnegie-Mellon University, he set off for New York City where he made his Broadway debut in Love! Valour! Compassion! Many plays and musicals later--and after meeting his future wife, Lisa Marie Erwin--the west coast beckoned. In addition to film and television, David is currently working on the lyrics to Paradise Lost: Opera Electronica, a groundbreaking piece which combines classical singing with ambient, trance and dance electronica.
