 | Hands down, the best movie I've ever seen. The scene where Dan Akroyd is eating the knockwurst is one of the most under rated scenes in film history! I especially love watching this movie with my family at Thanksgiving. I am the PIPER! |

 | I watched this movie five years ago and it still rates as the worst movie I have ever seen. It remains a running joke with my wife and I.
I recommend it to people who *think* they have seen a bad movie. Until you have watched "Nothing But Trouble", you have not experienced the worst.
I am considering owning this movie just so I can torture people by loaning it to them as a practical joke.

 | Makes the short list of worst major movie rleases of all time. I've seen a lot of comments here along the lines of 'you have to be in the right frame of mind for this one,but if you are,it's hilarious!!1!!1',and I would have to agree--if you are in a comatose, drooling state from heavy medication,or you have recently been lobotomized, this movie was made for you!
Akroyd and Chase have a long list of unfunny disasters to their credit, but I doubt they'll ever top this effort. This is Titantic and Hindenburg territory. |

 | Chevy Chase dutifully delivered his one-liners, Demi Moore stood around looking beautiful, and Dan Ackroyd (the judge) was unrecognisable and repulsive. John Candy actually had the best part(s) as the cop who hauled Chase and Moore and 2 Brazilionaires before the creepy judge. His other part was as his mute sister who alternated between wanting to hug Chase, cut up cars, and run torture machines.
The main set is a gigantic junkyard with a junky, booby-trapped mansion that the stars bungle through falling over piles of junk trying to escape death.
The overall feeling is too depressing, too warped to be funny. Maybe an 8 year old would laugh at the various farts, removal of body parts, and gross scenes that attempted to add humor to this downer of a film. The two Bazilians leave early, fortunately, as their shrill, petulant presence was especially annoying.
Demi Moore had a good moment when playing cards with the doughy half-wit twins in giant diapers. It looked like she was trying to set them against each other, but the scene is cut short and doesn't go anywhere.
It just wasn't funny and leaves the viewer with a very bad taste in the mouth. |

 | This movie is great! I admit that when I saw this film in the theatre when it came out, I was disappointed. I thought that it sucked. But after watching it a bunch of times, it grew on me.
There are some hilarious moments in the movie, and JP is a very colorful character. |
