SummaryMajor laughs!
Content
I'm a big fan of The Wayans Brothers and seeing this movie when it came out was the 1st ever time I saw something of The Wayans Brothers. I absolutely laughed while seeing this movie. The insults Major Payne (Damon Wayans) directs at the kids, his robot dancing, his twisted version of The Little Engine That Could, and how he tortures the kids are all hilarious parts. And his laugh is so funny. It's so funny that I do impressions of it. I also liked the fight scene at the military games when the deaf kid punches the former squad leader who leaves for Wellington Academy. Just a hilarious movie. One of 3 Wayans movies I like along with Mo' Money and A Low Down Dirty Shame. Major Payne is a major comedy classic!

SummaryThis Is A Must-See Movie!!
Content
"Major Payne" is so silly but it has had me and my family laughing time and time again.

It only has one scene that would go down in the hall of fame of what NEVER to do - a beautiful woman shakes her fanny right in the camera - oh, my smelling salts, please - but otherwise, it is a hilarious story if you like totally funny, silly, stupid, 'military-school-with-goofy-kids-and-terminally-gruff-commander' humor - and most especially, Damon Wayons who must be at his best here - this is the only work of his I really know.

How did I hear about "Major Payne"? I used to work with this man. I did not like the guy much. But the one thing about him - he kept saying what a funny and great movie "Major Payne" was. Over and over again. So one day, I rented "Major Payne" for myself. OH, my gosh. If you can't be silly, then do not rent this movie. Please. Don't. But if you CAN laugh at some silly, goofy, "offensive," crude, hilarious jokes, then by all means, rent or buy "Major Payne." It is one of those movies that has lines that you will ALWAYS remember - and may end up repeating for life.

It is not politically correct and thank God for that. It is just plain funny. And Damon Wayons is obviously mega-talented. If he has done anything else this funny or good, someone please let me know. I will certainly see it.

Now if this review offends anyone, or you rent "Major Payne" and don't like it, then so be it. I have done a service to mankind to tell others about this movie, and that is ALL that matters. A few more people will join me in the laughter because of my words here, and my life will have been worth something after all.

SummaryGREAT Comedy!
Content
Major Payne brings to the screen the story of a US Marine that finds himself in charge of an unlikely group of ROTC cadets, some of which no taller than his knee...
Damon Wayans, and the rest of the cast have truly outdone themselves with their performances, which are exceptional to say the least. All the actors, without exceptions, give it their 100% and it really shows (the chemistry is AMAZING)!
The plot, the setting, the dialogues, the HUMOR, and the music are all EXCELLENT!
In conclusion, Major Payne is a movie guaranteed to provide an evening's entertainment and one to seriously consider adding to your movie collection!

SummaryGreat for JROTC kids!
Content
I love this movie. It's actually my favorite movie considering I relate to it on a personal level. I'm a law enforcement cadet/explorer, so I closely understand the concept of JROTC, as we cadets go through similar experiences. We sometimes go to boot camp together in the same facility, so we would be considered closely related in a sense. Cadet Alex Stone, in the movie, reminds me of my friend Jeff who is also a law enforcement cadet. I see himself in the character of cadet Stone, which makes the movie even closer to me. I bet any cadet would enjoy this movie!
