Detour to TNA
Embarking on her entertainment career as a model and dancer, Christy Hemme began her screen career on the Comedy Central channel and was later known as a WWE roster with the ring name “Sunni.” She then entered WWE’s Ohio Valley Wrestling before finally leaving the international wrestling show and moving to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Hemme presently takes part in “TNA Impact! Wrestling” (2006) and is recording her self-penned single “Society Box,” which will be featured in the upcoming TNA album 3rd Degree Burns.
Off screen, the woman with measurements 34C-25-35 is a fan of 4-wheeling, horseback riding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, snow-skiing, dirt bikes, street bikes and public speaking. On her current single status, the sexy wrestler commented, “It’s also hard for me to find a guy in Los Angeles, because I like Southern men. I go for the simple kind of guy, who is down to earth and likes to ride bikes, and there aren’t many of those in L.A.”

Christina Lee Hemme was born on October 28, 1980, in Temecula, California. Her mother, Susan, has passed away. “It’s weird, because just about everything I do is kinda sexy. It’s cute ‘cause I know my dad is telling all his friends about what I’m doing.” Christy Hemme
Christy moved to L.A. soon after graduating from Mount San Jacinto College (majored in Dance). She then became a bikini model and appeared in some music videos before finally earning fame as one of the WWE divas.
As a model, Christy Hemme has adorned the cover pages of Muscle & Fitness, Muscle Magazine, Stuff, Maxim, Playboy and Rolling Stone. She also appeared in the music video for the song by Trace Adkins, Blink-182 and Sonic, as well as joined the burlesque dance team “The Purrfect Angelz,” with which she performed at Harley Davidson motorcycle rallies.
Hemme’s modeling and dancing gigs immediately brought her to the Comedy Central channel’s talk show “The Man Show” (2003-2004), where she appeared as a dancer. On the same channel, Hemme served as a presenter for the comedy-themed award ceremony Comedy Central Presents: The Commies (2003). She also took part at the Lingerie Football League in the Lingerie Bowl inaugural game (2004, also played a Chicago Bliss quarterback in a 2005 Lingerie Bowl playoff game).
” I think I have the energy the show demands, not just the energy to be on camera, but the ability to travel and give my life to WWE. This job is a lifestyle and you have to not just want it but want to do it.” Christy Hemme
Joining the 2004 WWE Diva Search, Hemme won the Summerslam competition and earned the prize of $250,000 and a one-year contract with WWE. To begin her wrestling career, Hemme (also had the ring name “Sunni”) had her first match in the televised WWE Taboo Tuesday (2004), opposite Carmella DeCesare. After knocking out DeCesare, Hemme challenged Trish Stratus (in WrestleMania 21, 2005) and Victoria (in WWE Vengeance, 2005), but lost both matches.
Hemme was then traded to WWF Smackdown, where she joined the Legion of Doom and won the match against the MNM group, led by Melina. She, however, lost to Melina in the televised singles session. On November 30, 2005, Hemme entered the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), a WWE developmental territory, and allied with wrestler Matt Cappotelli. A month later, Hemme, who was famous for the moves named “Hurricanrana” and “Extreme Twist of Fate,” was kicked out of WWE because of a financial reason.
Moving to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the wrestler made her debut appearance at the televised match TNA Wrestling: Lockdown (2006) and followed it with her performance in “TNA Impact! Wrestling” (2006). Hemme is now also the co-host of the “Impact” online show with Jeremy Borash.
Meanwhile, Hemme was also seen as Jaime in the horror movie Bubba’s Chili Parlor (2005). She will also take a minor role as Lust in the horror thriller Fallen Angels, set for release in 2006.
