Teen actress Christian Serratos started out as a Ford model at age 7 before eventually moving to acting at age 8 and landed her first role at age 13 on Nickelodeon's live-action situation comedy "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" (2004-2007), as Suzie Crabgrass, Ned's crush and Moze's arch-enemy, but later best friend. The role would earn her a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series - Recurring Young Actress.

Meanwhile, she guest-starred in the TV series "Zoey 101," "7th Heaven," and "Hannah Montana," as well as appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie starring Alyson Michalka and Amanda Michalka (aka. Aly & AJ), "Cow Belles" (2006).

Born Christian Bernardi on September 21, 1990 in California, Serratos, a Mexican, Italian and Irish descendant, was already a compulsive performer as a toddler. She also took dancing (ballet, jazz, hip hop) and trained in Tai Kwon Do and Hapkido. Additionally, she has done competitive figure skating. She loves to horseback ride and go shopping in her spare time.

An avid animal lover, Serratos has two mini poodles, Johnny Cash and Gigi, and four pups, Polar, Gibson, Uffie, and Gorrilla.

Serratos is a fan of Jayne Mansfield and her favorite movies are “A Little Princess” (1995), “The House of Yes” (1997), “Practical Magic” (1998), and “Tristan + Isolde” (2006). She adores Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp and would like to work with both of them.

Career:

Having been a compulsive performer since a toddler, Christian Serratos started out as a Ford model at age 7 before moving onto acting and commercial work at age 8. She later shot 'Healthy Pets Act' video for PETA TV alongside Jillian Reynolds, Kevin Nealon, Mike White and Ami James.

At age 13, Serratos landed the recurring role of Suzie Crabgrass, Ned's (played by Devon Werkheiser) dream girl since fourth grade and Moze's (played by Lindsey Shaw) arch-enemy, but later best friend, on Nickelodeon's live-action situation comedy "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide." Her performance in the show earned her a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series - Recurring Young Actress. Premiered on September 12, 2004, "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide"'s finale television movie aired on June 8, 2007.

During this time, Serratos appeared as the title role's daughter Jillian in a 11-minute short drama film "Mrs. Marshall" (2004; starring Tracey Stone and Tanner Richie), and in the Disney Channel Original Movie starring Alyson Michalka and Amanda Michalka (aka. Aly & AJ), "Cow Belles" (2006).

She was also spotted as a guest in an episode of Nickelodeon's Emmy Award-nominated live-action situation comedy starring Britney Spears sister Jamie Lynn Spears, "Zoey 101," the WB/CW family drama "7th Heaven," and Disney Channel's Emmy-nominated musical/sitcom starring Miley Cyrus, "Hannah Montana." Additionally, she frequently visited recording studio to work on a solo album.

Serratos will make her film debut in an upcoming film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling young adult vampire novel, "Twilight." In the film that directed by Catherine Hardwicke and stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, she portrayed Angela Weber, Bella's (Stewart) shy, quiet, and very kind classmate and later very good friend. "Twilight" is set to be released domestically on December 12, 2008.
