Catherine Kellner has an impressive resume of films that range from art house
independents to studio blockbusters. In this past year alone, Kellner was seen
in four very unique roles. Kellner played Melissa, starring alongside Shirley
Knight ("Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood") in Eve Ensler's ("Vagina
Monologues") new play "Necessary Targets" in New York. Kellner also recently
wrapped work on the independent film "Outpatient."
Kellner was last seen in Michael Bay's WWII drama "Peral Harbor" with Ben
Affleck, Kate Beckinsale and Alex Baldwin. Kellner has also starred in Tom
Gilroy's "Spring Forward" opposite Ned Beatty and Live Schreiber. Recent film
credits also include Singleton's "Shaft" with Samuel L. Jackson, Singleton's
"Rosewood," and celebrated indie films "30 Days," "200 Cigarettes,"
"Restaurant," "Kicking and Screaming," "Six Degrees of Separation," and "No Way
Home" with Tim Roth. Kellner has a strong theater background as well,
co-starring in nearly 20 stage productions including the Broadway classic "The
Iceman Cometh" opposite Kevin Spacey. Kellner is a graduate of NYU's Tisch
School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program. She splits her time between New York
and Los Angeles.
