Hart Breaker
Background:
Legendary motocrosser Carey Hart swooshed up his name and the Freestyle
Motocross as a whole with his back flip trick “Hart Breaker,” which he first
demonstrated at the 2000 Gravity Games. Additionally, he is famous for the
breathtaking “Hart Attack” dirt bike technique.
Making several appearances on the big screen, the X-game athlete was seen in the
action thriller xXx (2002) and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003). The avid
fan of the punk band Social Distortion also starred in the reality show “The
Surreal Life” (2005) and the now-airing “Inked” (2005-?), which employed the
daily occurrence in his tattoo shop “Hart & Huntington Tattoo Parlor.”
Carey Hart, sometimes also billed as Cary Hart, has a well-publicized romantic
relationship with pop star Pink. They are now married and allegedly will have a
child soon.
Pink’s Heart
Childhood and Family:
In Las Vegas, Nevada, Carey Jason Hart was born on July 17, 1975. Sometimes, he
is also credited as Cary Hart.
As if destined to be a racer, four-year old Carey already began riding
motorcycles. Later, he worked on his hobby and natural talent to enter the pro
motocross circuit. At his teen, Carey also built particular interest in music.
On a more private note, on January 7, 2006, Carey and his fiancé, pop singer
Pink (nee Alecia Moore), walked down the aisle. The couple is reportedly
expecting a child.
Hart Attack
Career:
Entering the rough competition in 1981, Carey Hart became a freestyle motocross
legend thanks to his well-known back flip action using a 250cc motorcycle in the
2000 Gravity Games, which was also featured on Ripley’s Believe It or Not. The
trick was then called the “Hart Breaker.” He also invented another up-in-the-air
trick named “Hart Attack,” which was a midair handstand done on bike.
In a short time, he enjoyed the rock star status and appeared in some
documentary videos, mainly about the extreme game. His taped performance was
seen in Crusty Demons of Dirt, Vol. 3 (2001), Ultimate X: The Movie (2002),
Chapter 2 (2002), Girls of the Games: Ultimate X (2003), Flipped Out (2003) and
No Fear: Chapter One (2003).
Meanwhile, Hart, who in 2001 broke his bone while making second attempt of “Hart
Breaker” trick, also played bass with a band named Pennywise on the 2001 Warped
Tour. Inevitably, his eminent name brought him to the screen, where he had a
small part as a caddy passenger in the Vin Diesel-starring action thriller xXx
(2002).
He also appeared as himself in the sequel movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
(2003) and starred in the fifth season of the reality TV “The Surreal Life”
(2005), a reality show about the daily life of fading celebrities. Other stars
included in the series were Jose Canseco, Bronson Pinchot, Omarosa
Manigault-Stallworth, Janice Dickinson, Caprice Bourret, and Pepa.
Hart is the co-owner of a tattoo shop named “Hart & Huntington Tattoo Parlor” in
Palms Casino, Las Vegas, which he formed with partner John Huntington. In 2005,
he made use of the business in the reality show titled “Inked” (2005-?), which
spotlighted the daily stories of the shop staffs, including Hart and Huntington
himself, as well as the celebrity costumers of the parlor. Recently, he appeared
in the action documentary TV series “M80” (2006).
