Tracy Byrnes is an American television business news anchor,
journalist, and accountant. She is known for her affiliation with the
Fox Business Network. She has appeared as a recurring panelist on the
FBC stocks and investment news programs “Cashin' In” and
“Bulls & Bears.”
Byrnes is a fan of “The White Shadow” (1978). Her favorite
song is The Beatles' “When I'm 64”.

Childhood and Family:
Tracy Byrnes was born on March 3, 1964, in Duluth, Minnesota, to a
Sicilian-American family. She is the middle child of six children. She
graduated with a B.A. in Economics and two English minors from Lehigh
University. She received her Master of Business Administration Degree
in Accounting from Rutgers University Graduate School of
Tracy was married in 1997, but later divorced in 2005. She has two daughters and one son.
After college, Tracy Byrnes started on a career at Ernst & Young
LLP as a senior accountant. Her financial journalism career began in
1997. She worked as a senior writer for TheStreet.com for four years.
There she had the opportunity to collaborate with Dagen McDowell.
Byrnes has worked as freelance business columnist. She has contributed
columns for the New York Post and WSJ.com and her work has appeared in
SmartMoney and on CBS Marketwatch.
In September 2005, Byrnes joined the Fox News Channel (FNC). In October
2007, she joined Fox Business Network (FBN) as a reporter. Byrnes
hosted the 1 P.M. ET weekday “FBN Live” on
FoxNews.com Live. She serves as a recurring panelist on Fox Business
Channel stocks and investment news programs “Cashin' In”
(2012-2013), “Bulls & Bears” (2013-2014) and
“Your World with Neil Cavuto.”
Byrnes released her first book, “Break Down Your Money: How to
Get Beyond the Noise to Profit in the Markets” in 2008.
