I Didn't Do It
American teen actress and singer Olivia Holt rose to prominence for
portraying Kim Crawford, a confident martial artist, on the Disney XD
comedy series “Kickin' It,” a role she played from 2011 to
2013. She left the show to star in the Disney Channel teen sitcom
“I Didn't Do It,” which began airing on January 17, 2014.
Holt is best friends with actress Jadin Gould.
Childhood and Family:
The daughter of Mark and Kim Holt, Olivia Hastings Holt, who would
later be popular as Olivia Holt, was born on August 5, 1997, in
Germantown, Tennessee. She moved with her family to Nesbit, Mississippi
when she was three. She has an elder sister, actress/writer/director
Morgan Toll, and a younger brother named Cade Holt. She joined chess
team on her school, and has competed in many cheer-tournaments.

Olivia Holt began acting in local theater productions. She added
several television commercials to her credits including those for
Hasbro, Kidz Bop 14, Mattel, Bratz dolls, Littlest Pet Shop, and Girl
Gourmet products. When she was 12, Holt made her feature film debut in
“Black & Blue,” a drama directed by Jill Maxcy and
written by Liz Maccie.
Holt's big break came when she won the main role of Kim on the martial
arts series “Kickin' It,” which premiered on June 13, 2011
on Disney XD. She would remain on the show to the end of its third
season, and will not return for a fourth season, which is scheduled to
air in 2014.
In 2012, Holt played the lead character Skylar Lewis, a teenage girl
that finds out that she is a fifth generation monster hunter, on the
Disney Channel original movie “Girl vs. Monster,”
which premiered on October 12, 2012. She recorded three songs for
the movie: “Fearless,” “Had Me @ Hello”
(Reprise) (with Luke Benward & Katherine McNamara) and
“Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now.” The songs were included on
the compilation album “Make Your Mark: Ultimate Playlist,”
which was released under Walt Disney label on October 16, 2012. Holt
also sang “Winter Wonderland” for the 2012 album
“Disney Channel Holiday Playlist.”
In 2013, Holt appeared as Young Georgia in an episode of Disney
Channel's sitcom “Shake It Up!” called “My Bitter
Sweet 16 It Up.” She recoded a cover of Nancy Sinatra's
“These Boots Are Made for Walkin'” for “Shake It Up:
I Love Dance” soundtrack (2013). Still in 2013, she recorded the
song “Snowflakes” for the holiday album “Holidays
Unwrapped,” which was released on October 15, 2013.
Holt currently stars opposite Austin North on the Disney Channel
Original Series “I Didn't Do It,” which debuted on
January 17, 2014.
