Dyanna Lauren is an American pornographic actress and director. She won
two Adult Video News Awards and a X-Rated Critics' Organization Award
for her performance in “Bad Wives” (1997). In 2008, she was
inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame.

Childhood and Family:
Dyanna Lauren was born Dyanna Lauren Brown on March 18, 1965, in Los
Angeles, California. She studied music at the Christian Azusa Pacific
Dyanna has been married and divorced twice. Her first husband was
Hurley. She married second husband John Gray in 2001, but the marriage
later also ended in divorce.
Penthouse of the Month
Dyanna Lauren was named the Penthouse of the Month for July 1995. She
went on to become the first guest to appear as a single guest on
Playboy TV's “The Helmetcam Show,” which was broadcast live
on August 21, 1996.
Lauren appeared in a number of adult films during the 1990s. She has
been a contract performer with Vivid Entertainment. In 1998, she won
Adult Video News Awards for Best Actress and Best Anal Sex Scene as
well as an XRCO for Best Actress for her portrayal of Tracy Jo Whitman
in “Bad Wives” (1997), which was directed by Paul Thomas
and written by Dean Nash. However, she later shift away
Lauren branched out to directing in 1995 with the adult film
“Checkmate,” which she also starred in with former husband
and co-director Brad Armstrong. She also directed and wrote 1997's
“Broken Promise,” 1998's “Art Lover” and 1998's
“Manic Behavior,” as well as directed many other adult
films, including “Vivid Virtual Vixens” (1999),
“Picture This” (2000), “Virtual Blowjobs in Your
Face” (2001) and “Young Felecia” (2003).
In 2007, Lauren became the CEO and spokesperson of the film production
company Ninn Worx_SR, which is owned by her ex-husband, John Gray.
On January 12, 2008, Lauren was inducted into the Adult Video News Hall of Fame.
In April 2009, Lauren started filming for her first feature appearance
in more than a decade. She was nominated for the XRCO Award for Best
Cumback in 2010 and then in 2011. She also won the 2010 XBIZ Award for
Performer Comeback of the Year. In 2011, she received an AVN nomination
for MILF/Cougar Performer of the Year. Lauren more recent adult film
credits include “The Cougar Club 3” (2011), “Mothers
& Daughter” (2012), “The Psychotherapist” (2012),

Apart from her work in the pornographic industry, Lauren also has shown
a passion on music. Along with fellow porn star Kobe Tai, she sang and
appeared on the Marilyn Manson album “Mechanical Animals,”
which was released in the US on September 15, 1998. She also sang in
the rock band “Thousand Year Itch,” who released one album
