Brittny Gastineau is American model, television personality and
socialite. She is maybe most popular to reality television fans as the
star of “The Gastineau Girls” (E!, 2005-2006), along with
her elite socialite mother, Lisa Gastineau. She also appeared in
another E! Network reality show, “Filthy Rich: Cattle
Drive” (2005). Oone of Maxim magazine's “Hot 100 of
2005,” Gastineau has found success as a print and runway
model.
Gastineau is a fan of the New York Giants. She has a pet Chesapeake Lab
named Buck. She is in a relationship with Richard Voll, is a music
producer.

Childhood and Family:
Brittny Gastineau was born Brittny Amanda Erin Gastineau on November
11, 1982. She is the daughter of former New York Jets player Mark
Gastineau and Lisa Gastineau. Married in 1979, her parents separated in
1986 after her mother learned that Mr. Gastineau was having an affair
with actress Brigitte Nielsen. Their divorce was finalized in 1991.
During the divorce proceedings, young Brit lived with her grandmother
and did not live with her mother again until “Gastineau
Girls.” She attended public school at Clarkstown High School
North in New City, New York, and went on to study event planning at
University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She quit school to pursue
a career in modeling and acting in New York.
Filthy Rich
Career:
Brittny Gastineau signed with the Elite Model Management in New York,
and became a model as part of their celebrity division. She soon
appeared in “Stuff” magazine, and went on to appear on the
cover of “Steppin' Out,” “Lucire,”
“Hamptons” and “Social Life” magazines as well
as spreads for “L.A. Confidential” and “Life and
Style” magazines. She has strutted down the catwalks for
designers like Anne Bowen, Anna Sui, Yumi Katsura and Tamara Pogosian
on the NYC Fashion Weeks, and appeared in an European advertising
campaign for L'Oréal, in addition to becoming the face of casual
wear designer Ed Hardy. Her modeling career also included contracts
with MAC cosmetics and runaway shows for boutiques Heatherette run by
Traver Rains and Richie Rich. Along with her mother, she has an
accessories line called Tres Glam and a costume jewelry
line.
Gastineau's career in reality television show began when she was tapped
to star in E! Network's “The Gastineau Girls” along
side her mother Lisa. Following the daily exploits of the daughter and
mother, the show premiered on February 15, 2005 and was canceled after
two seasons. The final episode aired on February 7, 2006. In 2005,
Gastineau was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in the category of
Choice TV Reality/Variety Star - Female for her performance on the
show.
In between seasons of “The Gastineau Girls,” Gastineau
appeared on “Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive,” another reality
show on E! Network, which premiered August 7, 2005. The show,
which observed the activities of spoiled celebrity children on a
Colorado cattle ranch, was created by Justin Berfield and produced by
Joe Simpson, father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. Other participants
in the show were Kourtney Kardashian (daughter of attorney Robert
Kardashian), George Foreman III (son of boxer George Foreman), Shanna
Ferrigno (daughter of bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno), Noah Blake (son of
actor Robert Blake), Fabian Basabe (son of an Ecuadorian
businessman), Alex A. Quinn (son of Mexican-born actor Anthony
Quinn), Haley Giraldo (daughter of singer Pat Benatar) and The Hon.
Alexander Clifford (son of His Lordship The Right Honourable Thomas
Clifford, 14th Baron Clifford of Chudleigh).
Gastineau became a guest host on episodes of the daytime talk show
“The View” (ABC) and Isaac Mizrahi's talk show. She
appeared in the talk show “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch”
and in the game show “Identity” (NBC). She also appeared in
episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” (2007-2010),
“Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter” (2010) and
“America's Next Top Model” (2011).
In 2009, Gastineau appeared as herself in the comedy film “Brüno,” starring Sacha Baron Cohen.
