SummaryThree Stars Is Really Good In My Book
Content
Okay...this is one of those dirty secrets that one tends to keep hidden away...I really liked this film. If you understand what it is...a silly lark that is not to be taken seriously at all!...That is, it is a film where you do not expect to think...nor even WANT to think at all!

If you grew up in the late 70's to late 80's you knew guys like this...you may even know a few now!..."Van Halen man...not Van HAGAR!!!" You knew guys like Robbie, "Def Leppard SUCKS!!!" You wanted girls like Jill, "A Hemi?" and you wanted a HEMI!!!

After seeing this you can go back to claiming how much you are into foreign films that have such deep meanings you never figure them out...but for now...LIFE'S A GARDEN...DIG IT!!!

SummaryDoes your mother sew? Well BOOM get her to sew that.
Content
One of the best movies ever, David Spade in his greatest A.F. (After Farley) movie. Spade plays a steriotypical redneck who tells his story about his search for his parents to a radio DJ Zander Kelly (Dennis Miller), about life with his foster parents, finding a meteor, meeting Brandy and Charlie, Buffalo Bob, and Chris Walken as Clem the janitor.

Go BUY this movie right now, critics have no idea what they were talking about when they bashed this movie.

MULLETS ROCK!!!

SummaryIgnore the critics...IT'S A FUNNY MOVIE!
Content
"Joe Dirt" are some of those films you are really supposed to dislike: it's crude, has more stupid and immature jokes a viewer can take, and the title...well...it's original.

Yes, when the film came out in the spring of 2001, the film received scathing reviews and dissapointing box-office numbers. But it seems to have an interesting cult following. It's not just the rednecks who like the film, but just viewers who just want to have a good time, ignore all the stupid critics, and have a laugh. It's a guilty pleasure spectacle! The film is so stupid, it's funny! The story has heart, a fine cast including the lovable David Spade, the always akward, but hilarious Christopher Walken, and fine quick-paced editing that keeps the viewer in tune.

All in all, it's a hillbillie masterpiece! Just get the film, it's more worthy then any Farrelly Brothers flick.

SummaryThis Movie Is A Gem And The Soundtrack Really Rocks Too!
Content
In this movie we see Joe Dirt played by David Spade who works as a janitor in a radio staion. Joe is asked to be interviewed on air by a DJ who seems intent on making Joe to be a figure of fun. However as the movie progresses Joe becomes a much admired celebrity as his life story is slowly revealed. This movie features the very talented Christopher Walken as a fellow janitor with a secret and the absolutely gorgeous Jaime Pressley who is Joe's Love Interest for awhile . The movie also features a hard rocking soundtrack which was handpicked by guitarist Waddy Wachtel who played on Linda Ronstadts album 'Simple Dreams". A very funny story, lots of likeable characters and a great soundtrack!!! What else could you ask for except maybe one of those Tee shirts that Joe wears on which is printed "I Choked Linda Lovelace!!!"

SummaryIt's a Comedy
Content
I was reading reviews and just had to say something. This is a comedy. A David Spade comedy about a trailer trash guy with a mullet-like wig. Do you really, honestly expect it to be endearing, totally original and completely wholesome?

Joe Dirt is one of those tongue-in-cheek comedies. Just look at the cover before you watch it... it's obvious it's not going to be an Academy Award winning movie anytime soon.

But if you actually HAVE a real sense of humor and don't get offended at every little thing (as some people seem to) then enjoy it for what it is. A comedy that can make you laugh and entertain, as movies are intended to.

I thought it was hilarious and Spade did a wonderful job, as did all the supporting cast. It's not the best comedy in the world, but it is certainly entertaining.
