Rules of Engagement


American actress Bianca Kajlich is maybe most popular to television viewers for her portrayal of Jennifer on the CBS comedy series “Rules of Engagement” (2007-2013). Previously, she starred in the UPN series “Rock Me, Baby” (2003-2004) and had recurring roles on the series “Boston Public” (2000-2001), “Dawson's Creek” (2002-2003) and “Vanished” (2006). Kajlich was ranked No. 74 on the Maxim “Hot 100 Women of 2004” and No. 63 on the magazine's “Hot 100 Women of 2007” list.    

Kajlich is currently married to Mike Catherwood. She was previously married to Landon Donovan.  


Childhood and Family:

Bianca Maria Kajlich was born on March 26, 1977, in Seattle, Washington, to parents Patti (née Campana) and Dr. Aurel Jan “Relo” Kajlich. Her father was Slovak, while her mother is of Italian lineage. She graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School and attended Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

On December 31, 2006, Bianca married U.S. soccer player Landon Donovan, but they later divorced in 2011. She then married co-host of “Loveline” Mike Catherwood on December 16, 2012.

Rock Me, Baby


Bianca Kajlich launched her career with the Olympic Ballet Theater as a ballet dancer in Edmonds, Washington. After seven years, she wanted to give acting a try, and made her acting debut in a Kragen Auto Parts commercial. In 1999, she had her first film role as a coffee girl in the hit comedy “10 Things I Hate About You,” starring  Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Later that same year, she had another small role as a mall girl in “This Is the Disk-O-Boyz” and played the important role of Roxanne on the made for television film “ Sorority,”opposite Monica Lacy, Holly Towne and Sara Downing.

From 2000-2001, Kajlich had a recurring role as Lisa Grier in “Boston Public,” and from 2002 to 2003, she portrayed Natasha Kelly on “Dawson's Creek.” Around this period, she also made guest appearances in “Freaks and Geeks” (2000) and “Fastlane” (2002) as well as appeared in the made for TV films “Semper Fi” (2001, playing Sharon Exler) and “In My Opinion” (2002, playing Lane). On the film front, she played Carver on “Bring It On” (2000) and starred as Sara Moye on the horror  “Halloween: Resurrection” (2002), directed by Rick Rosenthal.        

Kajlich made her series regular debut in the comedy series “Rock Me, Baby,” where she played the role of Beth Cox, former exotic dancer and wife of Jimmy Cox. The show ran on UPN for a season from September 15, 2003 to May 25, 2004. She went on to play Quinn Keeler in several episodes of the short lived Fox series “Vanished” (2006), starring Gale Harold and Eddie Cibrian. The same year, she guest starred as Angela DiMarco in “In Justice” and  played Mia in the TV film “ More, Patience.”

Kajlich's big break arrived when she was cast as Jennifer Morgan on the CBS comedy series “Rules of Engagement,” which also starred Patrick Warburton, Megyn Price, Oliver Hudson, David Spade and Adhir Kalyan. She was on the show from its debut on February 5, 2007 until it ended on May 20, 2013 after seven season run.  

During her stint on the show, Kajlich guest starred as Lindsay Leikin in an episode of  “Psych” (2007), portrayed Juicy in “30 Minutes or Less” (2011), an action/ comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson, and starred with Nicholas Brendon on the comedy “Hard Love” (2011), which was directed and co-written by Clare Kramer.      

Kajlich is set to star opposite Kevin Durand and Lukas Haas in the upcoming drama film “Dark Was the Night,” for director Jack Heller and writer Tyler Hisel.
