Beth Riesgraf is an American television and film actress. She is probably best known for her role as Parker in the TNT television series “Leverage” (2008-?), from which she was nominated for a 2011 Saturn for Best Supporting Actress on Television.
Apart from acting, Riesgraf is a professional photographer.
Ms. Riesgraf had a romantic relationship with actor Jason Lee from 2001 to 2007. She appeared with Lee in the television series “My Name is Earl” and the film “ Alvin and The Chipmunks” (2007).
Childhood and Family:
Bethany Jean Riesgraf was born on August 24, 1978, in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. She is the youngest of six children. She graduated with honors from Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, where she was student body president, voted “Most Admired Senior,” senior prom queen and a member of the Photography club.
Bethany has a son, Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf-Lee, with former companion Jason Lee.
Freedom for Joe
Beth Riesgraf played Megan David in segment “The Summer of My Deflowering” of the short film of the same name, directed by Susan Streitfeld. In the following year, she landed a guest spot in an episode of “Spin City” called “ Trainstopping,” where she appeared as waitress, and played Loretta in the season 4 of MTV's “Undressed.”
Riesgraf made her feature debut in “Scorcher” (2002), an action/adventure film directed by James Seale and starring Mark Dacascos, John Rhys-Davies and Tamara Davies. She went on to appear in the mystery film “I Love Your Work” (2003), starring Marisa Coughlan, Judy Greer and Shalom Harlow, and directed and co-written by Adam Goldberg. In 2005, she had various roles in the made for TV film “The Stereo Sound Agency,” guest starred in “How I Met Your Mother” (2005) and played Natalie Duckworth in two episodes of “ My Name is Earl” called “ Faked My Own “ (2005 and “ Our 'Cops' Is On!” (2007), with then companion Jason lee.
In 2007, Riesgraf shot a pilot for “Showtime” called “Insatiable.” The same year, she also appeared as James' date in an episode of “ Big Shots” called “The Good, the Bad, and the Really Ugly,” as Kelly Schmidt in an episode of “Without a Trace” titled “Run” and as Mother in Store in the film “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” starring Lee.
In 2008, Riesgraf began her role of Parker, an expert thief, cat-burglar, pickpocket and safe-cracker on the TNT drama series “Leverage,” opposite Timothy Hutton, Gina Bellman, Aldis Hodge and Christian Kane. Debuted on December 7, 2008, the show was renewed for a fifth season in August 2011. Also in 2008, she portrayed Amber in “Struck,” a short film directed by Taron Lexton, written by Milena Ferreira and starring David Aranovich, Jennifer Aspen and Lynsey Bartilson.
In 2009, Riesgraf co-starred in the Rob Perez directed comedy film “Nobody,” opposite Sam Rosen, Mark Margolis and Helena Mattsson.
In 2011, Riesgraf appeared in an episode of “NCIS” called “Kill Screen.”
Riesgraf will play Cindy Robinson in the upcoming dram film “Freedom for Joe,” directed by Stephen Bridgewater and written by Lee Burns. The film is set to be released on August 31, 2012.
