Becky Boxer, also known as Becky Israel, is an American actress. She appeared in such films as “Hijack” (1999), “Bad Meat” (2004), “Jarhead” (2005), “The Iron Man” (2006), “Killer Yacht Party” (2006), “Stump the Band” (2006), “Shattered! (2008) and “Cat City” (2008). She also lent her vocals to video games.

Becky Boxer made her professional acting career in 1999. Initially billed as Becky Israel, she landed the supporting role of Melinda Benton in “Hijack” (1999), an action/thriller film directed by Worth Keeter, written by Steve Latshaw and starring Jeff Fahey, Ernie Hudson and Beth Toussaint. She also played Kiera in the direct to video “You're Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley's Fashion Party” (1999) and CheyenneDeVerennes in a 24 minute short, “Miss Supreme Queen” (1999), directed and co-written by Emily Weissman.

Following this, Boxer disappeared from the screen for several years, and made her return to acting in 2004 when she was cast as Congressman's daughter on the comedy film “Bad Meat,” which was co-written and helmed by Scott Dikkers. Costars in the film included Billie Worley, Lance Barber and Chevy Chase. In 2005, Boxer appeared as Dettman's wife in “Jarhead,” a biographical drama war film based on U.S. Marine Anthony Swofford's 1991 Gulf War memoir of the same name, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Swofford. The film received mixed reviews and grossed over $96 million against a budget of $72 million.

In 2006, Boxer appeared in five different film projects. She first starred as Marisa in the short “Time to Go,” opposite Stephan Cox and Kylie Milne, and then portrayed Helena in Alex Nam's “The Iron Man,” a tale based on the life of the inventor of the original “Iron Man.” She co-starred with Michael Harrison Baker in Tony Besson in “Killer Yacht Party,” a horror/thriller movie directed by Piotr Uzarowicz, played the supporting role of Joan in the horror flick “Stump the Band,” starring Daniel Agosto, Courtney Bean and Dave Berges, and starred as Quinn in “A Friendly Game,” an award winning short directed by Piotr Uzarowicz and written by April Wright.

In 2008, Boxer worked with A. Russell Andrews, Lynsey Bartilson and Allyce Beasley in the drama film “Shattered!,” directed and co-written by Joseph Rassulo, and supported Brian Dennehy, Julian Sands and Rebecca Pidgeon in the thriller movie “Cat City,” by Brent Huff.

Boxer lent her voice to the video games “Saints Row 2” (2008), “The Sims 3” (2009) and “Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time” (2009).
