An Unfinished Life
American actress Becca Gardner is perhaps known as the daughter of Jennifer Lopez in the Lasse Hallström film “An Unfinished Life” (2005). She has guest starred in “The Practice” and “Grey's Anatomy.”
Childhood and Family:
Becca Gardner was born in Washington, in 1990. At age 2, she moved with her family to Lake Tahoe, California, where she was raised. She has a brother and two sisters.
Becca Gardner made her acting debut at age 4 in Musicals with the Missoula Childrens Theatre Group, which toured through Lake Tahoe. She went on to perform in regional theater productions before starting to commuting from Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles for auditions, classes, and independent films.
In 2003, Gardner scored her first big screen role in the thriller “What Ever Happened to Alice,” which was directed and written by and starring Linda Larson. There she played Bonnie. Later that same year, she made her television debut as Anna Vjorka in an episode of “The Practice” called “Victims' Rights.”
Gardner's career gained boost when she was cast as Jennifer Lopez's daughter, Griff Gilkyson, in the drama film “An Unfinished Life” (2005), directed by Swedish director Lasse Hallström, and based on the Mark Spragg novel of the same name. The film received mixed reviews from critics and did not perform so well at the box office.
In 2006, Gardner portrayed Bex Singleton in an episode of “Grey's Anatomy” called “Begin the Begin.”
