SummaryZorro will always be Zorro
Content
A legend is a legend and it cannot be changed. Yet you can revisit it and modify some details without any risk. Zorro, this Californian Robin Hood, has to fight against the powerful and for the powerless. But Zorro ages and has to find and train a substitute, an heir. The tricky thing is that his wife was killed and his daughter stolen by the governor. Everything will turn OK and a new generation of the legend is ready to live, the next one already out of the oven. The film adds a couple of winks at other films, particularly Batman. The training room and living quarters are in a cave for example. Look for all allusions you can identify and the film will appear as a real patchwork of quotations and borrowings, in other words, with the good bees we have on the screen, perfect honey. And the powerful will be punished and the powerless saved. Zorro will manage to be on time.

SummaryTony Shines
Content
While the 'special edition' didn't have anything special about it, the movie itself is its usual greatness. The ultra-gorgeous Tony Amendola is in it for a brief but memorable role as Don Luiz; it is worth seeing the rest of the movie for him.

For die-hard Zorro fans, the opening sequence is a wonderful tribute to the original; a sunset sillouetted Zorro on rearing horse. For people not rooted in tradition, Antonio does a wonderful job as a hoodlum turned Robin Hood and Catherine ZJ is stunning as always. My only complaint is I would have liked more screentime for Tony, but even in the background he still steals the show :)

SummaryMask of Zorro (Special Edition)
Content
The movie itself was as entertaining and stirring as I remembered from seeing it at the movies, but I was disappointed in the special edition.I bought the special ed for the added features and was annoyed to find that it had no theatrical trailers,no advertising materials, no music video (which I specifically bought this edition for), and only two deleted scenes. My advice to any to buy this edition is this: save your money and just go with the regular version and enjoy this thoroughly entertaining film.

Summarycould be better!
Content
the movie was a mixture of original zorro, batman and indiana jones. anyway that's not important in such movie. it was a great movie afterall but, there was too much ridiculus or unnecessary sequences. I expected a more serious movie. the sequence that zorro stole the black stallion, was one of the worse ones! that old ridiculous story and musical broadwaylike fight scenes was probebly funny for the audience of 40s but it was a great weakness for this sequel! the fight scene between zorro and elena was another ridiculus and even unnecessary scenes. and the first love scene of the movie! oh man! that was senseless! antonio banderas was not the gentelman zorror but a masked unpoliet bandit. can you tell me why in anyway, lady elena loved that bandit? I think they must have met in the party for the first time. and... elena was in love with three different people and didn't know they were same man! what was she? was she a bitch? scenario had too many weaknessess like theses.
and about DVD! I had a superbit edition of the movie and even seen the special edition. superbit has no special features but the picture and sound quality is extremely high. between this edition with no special features and the special edition, I Suggest to all collectors and professional costumers, buy the superbit edition of the movie without any doubt!

SummaryThe Mask Of Zorro
Content
Zorro is back in this epic adventure film for the entire family to enjoy. Although the movie falls into the same cliches and the characters are stereotyped, it's still worth watching. The story takes place after Zorro is already married, but his life is drastically altered when the Santanna realizes Zorro's true identity. Now several years later, a young man's brother is murdered by Santanna, so he now seeks revenge. With help and training from the legend himself, a new Zorro is born to rise and fight the injustice. Overall, this film may not be the best action film out there, but it's definitely worth noticing.
