American actress and fashion model Analeigh Tipton is most famous for placing third on Cycle 11 of “America's Next Top Model” (2008) and for her performance on the films “Crazy, Stupid, Love” (2011), “Warm Bodies” (2013) and “Lucy” (2014).

Childhood and Family:

Analeigh Tipton was born on November 9, 1988, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as Analeigh Christian Tipton. Her family moved to Sacramento, California when she was eight. She attended St. Francis High School of Sacramento, California and later studied film at Marymount College, Palos Verdes, CA.

As a child, Analeigh was a competitive ice skater. Starting skating at the age of two and a half, she trained for most of her childhood and competed in four U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships. She quit competitive skating at age 16 and continues to skate locally.   

America's Next Top Model


Analeigh Tipton was signed to I Model & Talent in Los Angeles and took part in the Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall 2008 for designer, Kelly Nishimoto for her Fall 2008 collection, Imasu. She then competed on Cycle 11 of “America's Next Top Model” (2008) and ended up placing third. For both the commercial and theatrical divisions, Tipton signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles and Abrams Artists Agency. She has appeared in several magazines such Spain's Marie Claire, Seventeen, Maxim, Vogue, and on Forever 21 and Guess advertisements. She has added runway credits to her resume with works in Los Angeles Fashion Week for Skingraft and David Alexander (2010), Geren Ford's pre-fall 2010 collection, Mercedes Benz Fall Fashion Show, Ticket Fashion Show, Nick Verreos Line, Guess? and America's Next Top Model obsessed fashion show.    

Tipton made her television acting debut opposite Samantha Potter in an episode of the television series “The Big Bang Theory” in 2008. Three years later, she made her big screen debut as Ana Lee in “The Green Hornet,”a  superhero action/comedy film based on the character of the same name that had originated in a 1930s radio program. The film is directed by Michel Gondry and stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz and Cameron Diaz.

Also in 2011, Tipton was cast a babysitter in the commercially successful comedy/drama film “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” which starred Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon. She starred opposite Greta Gerwig and Adam Brody in the Whit Stillman-directed comedy film “Damsels in Distress” (2011). On television, she had a recurring role as Sandee in the HBO comedy/drama series “Hung” (2011).

Tipton next appear in the film “Warm Bodies” (2013), where she played a friend of Julie (portrayed by Teresa Palmer) and portrayed Ashley in “ The Power Inside” (2013), a social film developed by Intel and Toshiba. She starred as Rose on the comedy film “Buttwhistle” (2014), as Lisa on the drama film “4 Minute Mile” (2014) and as Megan in “Two Night Stand” (2014), a comedy film directed by Max Nichols and written by Mark Hammer. She also co-starred with Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman in Luc Besson's film, “Lucy” (2014). Tipton played the leading role of Dana on the short lived sitcom “Manhattan Love Story.”

Recently, in 2015, Tipton worked with Ryan Reynolds, Sienna Miller, Ben Mendelsohn, Robin Weigert and Alfre Woodard for the comedy/drama film “Mississippi Grind.”

Tipton will play roles on the two upcoming films: “In Dubious Battle” (2015) and “Viral” (2016).
