 | I have watched this movie so many times that I still crack up at certain parts especially when Albert Brooks decides to get in the hot tub! Albert Brooks and Michael Douglass seem like an unlikely pair but truly are one of the funniest older men together I have ever seen! Michael Douglass plays a deep CIA agent that has to decide whether to stop working for the weekend or go to his son, Mark (Ryan Reynolds), wedding. Mark is to be married to a beautiful daughter of Albert Brooks (Lindsay Sloane). The only problem is that her family has yet to meet Mark's jet packing father. Somehow Albert and Michael end up flying half way around the world and back into a world of danger. The fun really starts at the wedding rehearsal where a surprise band starts to sing the first song the couple ever sang together. I was laughing so hard the first, second, and even the third time. Though the story does die down every once and awhile the most memorable and funny scenes are with Albert, Michael, ans Ryan Reynolds. They seem to carry the story whenever it seems lacking. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of comedy! |

 | Of course I am too young to even remember the original. or if I was old enough to remember, I did not see the original...but with that said, the movie was not that good to be honest. It was totally weird, and quite boring...not at all what I expected out of this ensemble cast!!! Skip this one!! |

 | I totally disagree with the naysayers about this movie. It's fun, fast paced and funny overall. It's not Oscar material, but at least it's entertaining. A break from the slasher/techo computer generated/killer with attitude flicks. People lighten up...it's all in jest. Rent it for light hearted comedy with a good sound track and some surprises along the way! |

 | Well, the kids are getting married. As usual the in-laws-to-be come from different environments. How different you may ask? Well you will just have to watch and find out. The father of the bride Jerry Peyser (Albert Brooks) is a highly specialized doctor. His skills and training will come to play a crucial part in this story. The father of the groom Steve Tobias (Michael Douglas) is a fast paced, never home Xerox salesman. Jerry will soon find out how hectic the life of a Xerox salesman can be. |

 | This one was OK.
However, I did enjoy the whole "Fat Cobra" which Jerry Peyser(Albert Brooks) did a great job with...though I did get quite irritated by all his questioning and insults to Steve Tobias(Michael Douglas). Michael did an excellent job as an undercover CIA Agent and that made it exciting, and all the antics that Jerry & Steve had to go thru together...but I thought Jerry sure could have cut out at least half his whining... |
