SummaryJustice is what happens in Court
Content
If you are not a lawyer - or if you are - and you want to know what the justice system is really like, this is the movie to watch: bored judges, lazy/incompetent attorneys; hypocritical and arbitrary ethics boards and, the ultimate: "Truth is what you can prove it to be in court" reality. The movie is dated since it does not show the Bush/Gonzales excesses of torturing those we pretend are enemies of the state, or imprisoning them in dog runs until they die, but this it "dead on" in its portrayal of the "justice" system in the US [not detailing the places where it is a lot worse]

SummaryAl Pacino at it's best...
Content
I bought this movie in the first place only because i had read & heard a lot about the famous courtroom scene in the movie. As it turned out the movie had a lot many gripping moments.i truly loved the character played by Al Pacino.

Only an actor like Al Pacino could have played the role of the idealistic lawyer to such an amazing level. Al pacino plays the role of the lawyer who fights for justice defending his clients in a law sytem where nobody cares much for what is at stake. Corrupt judges making deals with lawyers, innocent being tried for crime they never committed. Lawyers saving the one's who deserve to be hanged.
There are some great scenes where Al Pacino really lightens up the screen with his powerful performance & i really feel that this is one movie where Al is as natural in his acting as he never has been in his other movies.
Watch the movie for the amazing portrayal of humor mixed so well with drama & for that authentic "70's movie look".
you'll simply love Al Pacino in this movie for which he was nominated for Best Actor Oscar.

SummaryPacino is perfect.
Content
This movie is one of many of my favorite Al Pacino films. As always Pacino's presence is captivating and you can't take your eyes off of him. I love the way the film can be funny one moment and dramatic the next because thats how life is. Change is a gaurentee no matter how many plans you make. I thought Pacino's work with his co-stars ( Lahti, Warden, Forsythe and Strasberg ) was terrific and the performances with the rest of the actors who played Pacino's friends and fellow attorneys was excellent, and of course the actors who played Pacino's clients. The scenes with Pacino and the homosexual criminal and the young man falsely arrested are just so real and affective. Everytime I watch this movie I feel good but more importantly 'I feel.' And as always most times than not when you watch a movie with Al Pacino in it your going to get more than you expected whether you like that or not, and I like that alot.

SummaryPacino is the best of all time
Content
This movie has both comedy and drama in it. Lee Strasberg was great, you could see he is a legend. This movie probably closed the 70's chapter for the great Al in great style.

SummaryAl Pacinio is GOD!
Content
The movie over all was good. Nothing I would want to see again. But Al Pacino's part is amazing. His character is strong and crazy. (Something that is perfect for Pacino.) I would recamend this movie, just for Al pacino's preformance. NOt really for the story line.
